Exhibitions Officer - 2006 
Our new Exhibitions Officer for 2006 is Mabelle Mara, and for those of you that do not know her, here is an introduction.
Hi All!
My name is Mabelle and I'm the incoming Exhibitions Officer.
I was a bit afraid of taking it on, but what is life without a challenge! And what a challenge I took on...to follow in Raine's footsteps!
I feel that pottery has given me so much that it is time to give something back. I am more than glad to do it, especially because I'll have the help of Glenn England, my mentor and friend, and also from Clairee Johnson a wonderful potter. I look forward to working with them as a team.
A bit about me...I have been potting for about 15 years now, even more if I count my childhood mud pies!
I was born in Argentina and immigrated to Australia 20 years ago. I am concentrating in traditional Argentinean firing methods that I learned when I was in Argentina in 2005.
Well I think that is enough about me.
